Some senior photos in St. Louis have great locations. Others have unforgettable stories. Trey’s session across the river had both!
A senior at Althoff Catholic High School, Trey is a talented baseball and golf athlete who wanted his portraits to highlight the sports he loves. We planned two sessions: one on the baseball diamond and one on the golf course. What we didn’t plan on was a little extra excitement in between…
Part One: The Stadium Shots (and a Surprise Visit)
For Trey’s baseball portraits, we scored access to one of the coolest stadiums in the area — a field with towering lights, perfect backdrops, and that “big league” atmosphere.
We captured everything: Trey at the plate, in the dugout and stands, and leaning against the dugout fence like he owned the place. The golden-hour light made the grass glow and gave the whole shoot a cinematic feel.
But… somewhere, we accidentally tripped a security alarm. Moments later, the police arrived. Luckily, they were all smiles once they realized it was just a senior photo session in progress. It’s not every day you get a story like that behind your senior photos.
Part Two: Swinging Into Golf Mode
Once the stadium excitement settled, we shifted gears — literally. We wrapped up Trey’s portraits at a beautiful golf course, surrounded by lush greens and rolling fairways.
Trey looked completely at home, lining up his shots, carrying his bag, and letting the late afternoon sun light up the scene. The mix of action shots and clean, composed portraits gave him a gallery that’s as versatile as his athletic talent.
